Our Professional Oncology Skin care & Spa Course is taught by a Professional Oncology Certified Esthetics Educator and Licensed Aesthetician Instructor Tina Mclendon LE, 143, LT 16 with over 23 years in Medical, Oncology and Holistic Esthetics Wellness for Cancer Recovery and Health Challenged Clients.
Tina is a Native of New York,City. She is a licensed and Certified Medical and Holistic Aesthetician in North Carolina State licensed Aesthetics Instructor with over 23 years of experience in professional Medical and Holistic Skin Care Treatments, European, Asian and Indian Spa Therapies and Professional Clinical Makeup Artistry.
Her educational and professional experience includes a certification in Holistic Beauty Treatments, Director of Education for The Skincare Therapy Center formally Integrative Spa & Wellness Education Concepts, Instructor at Guilford Technical Community College, where she teaches Introduction to Natural Skincare and former facilitator and Educator at Anne Penn hospital for the American Cancer Society "Look Good Feel Better" program for women undergoing treatments for cancer recovery Davidson Community College as a Advance Aesthetics Program Instructor, State Board Approved Continuing Education Provider. She has Pioneered and Established on-going Oncology Skin Care Programs at both Presbyertian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina and Cancer Services a non-profit organization in Winston Salem, North Carolina that are approved and respected by a board of Oncologists at Presbyterian Hospital and Cancer Professionals at Cancer Services.
Tina is currently purpusing a Masters Degree at the University of Metaphysical Science holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration for Plaza Business College in New York, Certified Herbalist, Reflexologist, Holistic Ayurveda Beauty Practitioner and Aromatherapist. She is a board member of the Association for Holistic Wellness and Beauty Practitioners and a member American HolisticNurses Association.
Denise L. Griffin, LE, Oncology Certified
Director of Admissions
Denise is from a small town outside of Pittsburgh, PA. She has a BA in Communications and is a NC licensed Aesthetician that has been teaching skincare and color cosmetics since 2001. Denise’s passion is Healthy Skin.
Prior to becoming an Aesthetician, Denise spent five years in college Admissions and fell in love with helping people pursue their educational goals. Those experiences mixed with her passion for skincare led her directly to Tina McLendon whom she met at a Salon & Spa conference in Hickory, NC.
Now, Denise is the Director of Admissions for The Skincare Therapy Training Center where she brings her same love for helping students and her passion for skincare to the Center, to Estheticians and to Cosmetologist seeking advanced training to further their careers.
